Motivation for my precious lad!!

Equipment
By Edgar A. Guest

Figure it out for yourself, my lad,
You've all that the greatest of men have had,
Two arms, two hands, two legs, two eyes
And a brain to use if you would be wise.
With this equipment they all began,
So start for the top and say, "I can."

Look them over, the wise and great
They take their food from a common plate,
And similar knives and forks they use,
With similar laces they tie their shoes.
The world considers them brave and smart,
But you've all they had when they made their start.

You can triumph and come to skill,
You can be great if you only will.
You're well equipped for what fight you choose,
You have legs and arms and a brain to use,
And the man who has risen great deeds to do
Began his life with no more than you.

You are the handicap you must face,
You are the one who must choose your place,
You must say where you want to go,
How much you will study the truth to know.
God has equipped you for life, but He
Lets you decide what you want to be.

Courage must come from the soul within,
The man must furnish the will to win.
So figure it out for yourself, my lad.
You were born with all that the great have had,
With your equipment they all began,
Get hold of yourself and say: "I can."

Thus far the Lord has brought us!

Its the 13th day of March 2011; and i can not take the love of God for us for granted.Considering the tsunami, earthquake and nuclear meltdown in Japan,i can say that we are very blessed.
His grace has been sufficient for us; My Johari is now officially three years and has started mastering the alphabet letters...he knows double u "W" and "Q".those are letters he learn't first. Am so so impressed because he is getting ready for school now.He knows he is three and shows it with his fingers-3 fingers...Thank you God for your sufficient grace!!
He is particularly into race cars now and sometimes he wants"the bad guy games" which is an influence from his older cousin Brandon, but am trying my best to give him the age appropriate games...and so far he is co-operating...
He has learn't a lot of stuff and in his prayer list he always prays for the police; maybe its because i told him that the police look and take the children who don't listen to their mummies and the children who are bad.So he is always praying for them which is a good thing considering how challenging their job is.
He loves to play motorbike games and basket ball!!
He has mastered quite a number of letters-thanks to grandma who home-schools him...from A,W,Q,Z,X,V,M he is getting better everyday!!
Thank you God for my precious gift Johari Tata Ongweny!!

Up to speed!!3 years 1 month!!

Journal entry-31/03/2011
Today i happened to be off work and so i took my little prince to the Library for story time-that's one of his most favourite places to be at as he listens to teacher Patt narrating the stories in one and half hours. So after the story the kids get to do a craft to develop their artistic skills.Today they made a Ming Ming duckling all yellow and beautiful.
At least by now my baby boy has started going number two in the main bathroom which is a big relief,
He knows i go to work at Bank of America to get money and take him to chuck e cheese and also buy him candy with the money i earn.wow!!!
My baby boy is particularly very keen on computer games now-ranging from motor bike games to sponge bob to spider man to basketball to the penguins and occasionally Dora and Caillou and also Adventure time.So he is getting to use the
computer quite often and navigate the mouse and all.Excellent progress.
Oh!did i mention that he wants to operate my i pod too?oh yes he wants to watch his cartoons and listen to his music-majorly Justin Bieber and Dora songs on my i pod!!
Pretty much we are having a great time of our lives-when am free from work i like to take him to different places and watch his behaviour...its beautiful and very interesting...Thank you God for my baby boy for he fills my days!!!I love you my "Tata"
