Welcome 2012!!

So its the beginning of another great year 2012- is the year that the Lord has enabled us to see-we are forever grateful-this year my precious Lil man will turn four years-you notice its hard to narrate any story without mentioning him-its because he is such a blessing to me-he fills my days....
On new years eve he was up till late waiting to witness the ball drop as he counted 10...9...8...7 all the way to 0.Wow...Happy New Year!! 2012~
I was rather impressed at the determination he had-hoping it will stay on because it can take him places-
So this year...we are expectant of great things-for this far the Lord has brought us-at first the journey looked meaningless but now its starting to form shape and we are hopeful that all will be well especially when we understand where our help comes from always-

So happy new year to you my son....another year ...another opportunity for us to bond and live to tell....i love you as always and wish you all the best as usual~

Feliz Navidad & Happy New 2012!!

Oh well, we thank God for the Christmas day  that just ended in the last couple of days-What my wonderful son knows for sure is that Jesus died for the sins of himself and Dyllan his cousin-at least that's what he says when i ask him who Jesus died on the cross for-so i keep telling him its for all of us but for some reason he is stuck with the two of them only...so cute:)
So thank God he has not really got acquainted with Santa Claus and his chimney stories and delivering of gifts-so this year i had it easy-thank God because all he wanted was candy canes...am i not lucky and he found lots of that under the Christmas tree on 25th morning~
I also took him to church for the Christmas play and he hang out with Batman himself, Sponge bob-whom he said was too big, Frosty the snow man who was too quiet!!
So now we thank God for the past year 2011 that was full of blessings and great milestones for our family-full of sufficient grace, unconditional love and renewed mercies-we look forward to a completely new year- still on the roller skates-2012-when he turns 4 years old-and enjoy our adventures together and also with our larger family members-
Baby boy...we are still on....don't forget to enjoy every moment in 2012 just like you did in 2011!

Journal Entry Dec 8th 2011

OK, we haven't had time lately to update our electronic journal- that tells you how busy we have been-
My little man at 3 years 10 months and starting to know how his name looks like and to write it is great adventure for us!
And of course its around Christmas time-his 4th Christmas and he ha lots of questions about Santa and his list is endless of course all filled with different toys-from transformers to Spider man to Iron man to Batman and all the -mans you can think about!He has also just discovered candy canes and he already left the Christmas tree bare of candy canes because he made sure he ate them all in day one.
So he tells me that this time he will not be scared of Santa!!:) we will see especially when we do the photo with Santa.
Apart from that, my little Prince is doing great and getting a lot of help from his cousins Dyllan & Sydney who are his 2 main teachers!
He is learning the alphabet good and his numbers too-well done little man-you're a wonder on transit-a miracle in progress-come September 2013 you will be so ready for school/kindergarten your teachers will be impressed-so lets keep working at it-we are in this thing together-we are a team and am there for you-to support you in  all steps of this way/journey!
Go go baby boy-you are so smart and i can already tell by the intelligent questions you ask, the conversations we have and the actions there of.God bless you as always-every step of the way-meanwhile we have to get more candy canes for the Christmas tree!! :))

Up to speed 3 years , 7months old...we are going places!!!

So here we are once again....going places...growing well and giving life its best short!!!living our best life now...we couldn't have had it any better....we are here for such a time as this...things are great and God is good all the time.

My precious little gem is mile-stoning excellently...all pieces are falling in place....he has started writing his alphabet and drawing smiley faces and angry faces. H e loves to go to the library to play his club penguin, sonic, motor bike games and lately he is surprising me with cooking games...ooh...i cant wait to get that help in cooking :-) and dish washing and general cleaning up!!!

This is also the month, September, whereby he has joined a new  club in church called "Rainbows" .He is having lots of fun especially with the theme statement "Rainbows are helpers".So every time he would like to do something like play with the water, he will tell me that rainbows are helpers and he would like to help me with the dishes....aha...my little man is smart!!

So the Rainbows meet once a week on Wednesday at church.He loves his new club.We thank God for that too as this is introducing him to Bible verses!!So i go "the memory verse is....The Lord has chosen....?"then he says "you".its great!

Lately he has also been doing lots of gymnastics....yes on my couch...one day he went upside down,i said.."tata...you are up side down and 2 seconds later he went..."mummy is this up -side up?i just smiled!!so thoughtful and smart!!his though process amazes me already!!he also knows how to identify similar things especially cars...he says ..."this car looks like your car mummy" and more often than not its usually true!:-)

Tata...you fill my days especially the dull ones because you create so much fun,laughter and humor!!i love you and thank God for you!!

Nintendo dsi

So now my bay boy has grown so much...my Johari is 3 years 6 months old and i finally got him a Nintendo DS considering "he has no one to play with"except mummy of course! So he is finally enjoying his Mario and Luigi, Diego, Poke Mon, and now he really wants the Club Penguin chip/game.
So i told him that if he is gonna be a nice boy...listen to grandma and Aunty Penny during the day and also especially listen to Mummy...then i may consider getting him the club penguin.
The only other interesting bit is that he wants to play the game till he drops "dead" asleep so sometimes i have to literally snatch it from hi hands in order for him to get to eat,brush his teeth,use the bathroom , pray and finally sleep.But pretty much he is getting used to it.
Oh and i forgot the other part where when the D S gets out of charge ...sometimes he gets upset and throws it on the floor...am like you cannot do that because if it "dies"am not going to spend more money buying him another one...then he goes:Sorry mummy" at least he has learnt to apologize and also to share ...by having the Nintendo DS...let's see how long it lasts...but so far so good!!so probably tomorrow i may have to get him the club penguin chip because he has been nice!

Why mummy why?

Oh well...its been quite a while since i touched base with my baby's electronic journal...that tell you how busy i have been.So today i get a minute and i have to do an update on his developmental highlights....Apart from of course growing taller and more handsome, he is now at a stage where he wants to know the reason for everything!!Mummy why...why....why....??
So i have been patiently explaining all the whys...although not satisfactorily...i have been trying hard!!
The other interesting thing he is doing is like i ask him what he would like to eat...i give him two choices...say spaghetti and rice...then he says pop corn or something else like candy!!very interesting indeed.
when i tell him to pray...he stops in the middle and asks me a couple of questions...so the prayer ends up being a prayer cum conversation.very sweet!!
Those are the major highlights of his development and so far so good...apart from wanting to be all independent at 3!!!!everything is working out great.am like...let me help you "tata".he is like ..."mummy...i can do it".wow!!!talk of time flying!!now i know what that means when i watch and listen to my baby boy Johari....my son...i love you so so much...God bless you as always!!

Up to speed 3years-2 months old!!

December 2010-Mummy.Johari, Santa & Grandma-New Jersey USA

My baby boy is growing well in stature and knowledge.
Yesterday as we were going to church,i decided to put on my shades to shield me from the bright sunshine as i drove to church. When my son Johari noticed what i was doing, he said"Mummy, please give me my glasses, the sun is looking at me" I thought that was hilarious...to think that the glasses will block him from the sun's eyes...it made me smile at God's precious creation. Its in the same thought that he tells me that when the sun wakes up to mean when it shine-he would like to have some ice cream!!Wow...don't you love how they reason...simply and sensibly...no wonder we are commanded to have child-like faith...so sincere,so clean hear ted ,so innocent.
Well a part from that, he has been saying there's a monster in his tummy just because his Aunt y is expecting a baby...so when my sister tells him that there's a baby in her stomach and asks him what is in his stomach,he goes "a monster" so so funny!!
Apart form very hilarious statements, he is doing great,he wants to shower himself, dress himself,oil himself and generally be independent.Well that's a great virtue my precious little one but not at 3 years old, maybe at 15 or 16.Am just hoping and praying that you my precious boy will exhibit the same virtue 13 or 15 years from now.
He still feels half of our lives should be spent at Chuck e Cheese's but am trying hard to explain why that cannot happen:-)
He knows much about church,i go like,"where are we going tom morrow?" he says "church"
i ask him "to do what?" he says..." to sing,clap,listen to the pastor and play drums & guitar"
i go "good job Tata, am so so proud of you,are you gonna make me a proud mummy?"
he hoes "yes, mummy are you happy now?"
i say "yes of course-i love you"
